The question / The future
How many young lives could be changed or even saved
if they only knew that they were in control?
The question / The future
if they only knew that they were in control?
Truth 01 / Circumstance
The past is real. The circumstances matter. The mistake still happened.
Truth 02 / Choice
Power returns the moment a young person asks a better question.
BE FIRST / The framework
The outcome / Not a temporary feeling
Decided about who you are becoming and what you will do next.
The room is ready / The next move is yours
The story / A recent morning keynote
An organizer shared this feedback directly with Jamisin after a recent keynote. What follows is Jamisin's retelling of what they saw and felt in the room.
It was early. Students were still settling into the day, and the organizer was watching the room come together for the morning's first message.
As Jamisin spoke, the organizer watched the looks on the students' faces begin to change. The room participated. The message did not simply reach the stage. It moved through the audience.
Several speakers were scheduled after Jamisin. The organizer later told him it was difficult for the speakers who followed to match the energy he had created that morning.
Afterward, adults in the room told Jamisin they needed the message as much as the young people did. They left inspired by the same truth: what happened matters, but the next decision still belongs to you.
Jamisin is currently opening a limited number of complimentary Central Florida dates while he expands the BE FIRST speaking portfolio.
Bring this energy to your roomImmediate proof / Real words
Young people do not act on a message they do not trust. Parents and people Jamisin has mentored describe the quality that matters first: he connects. That is what gives the challenge room to land.
“The confidence boost he and his team have given my boys is amazing.”
“A wise, kind, helpful mentor.”
“My daughter loved training with him.”
Your young people do not need another person talking at them.
Documented progress / Parent shared
One student who attended a Jamisin talk and also received ongoing mentoring moved from an F and a C on early mastery work to an all-A semester summary. The family shared the records and educator feedback with permission.
These materials document the student's progress. They do not claim that one speech alone caused the academic result.
What could follow if the right message truly connected?
Bring BE FIRST to your studentsThe first win is not applause. It is a young person deciding their past no longer gets the final word.
Jamisin helps young people stop giving their future away. The message returns power to the one place they can use it: their next choice.
Bring this message to your roomThe deeper shift
The question that gives power away
The past becomes the reason. The mistake becomes an identity. The next move belongs to someone else.
The question that brings power back
The circumstances are still real. Now the young person can choose what they do, who they become, and what their actions prove.
BE FIRST / The operating system
The goal is not for young people to leave excited. The goal is for them to leave decided.
Your past is part of your story. It does not have the authority to decide who you become.
You may not control every circumstance. You still have power over your next decision.
Raise your behavior to match the person you decided to be.
The experience
Give your young people more than another motivational speech. Give them a message built for their room and a decision they can carry out of it.
What your young people leave with
Instead of staying trapped in “Who can I blame?”, they learn to ask, “What is my next move?”
Identity, ownership, and action give them simple language for the decisions waiting beyond the event.
The goal is not a temporary high. It is a next move they can name and a choice they can prove.
Jamisin learns who is in the room and what they are facing so the keynote speaks to them, not merely at them.
A 45 or 60 minute interactive experience using real stories, humor, questions, audience participation, and direct challenges.
Private digital access to an unreleased BE FIRST song that reinforces the central message after the event.
A limited number of keynote dates are currently available for selected schools and youth organizations. No speaking fee.
